Found out recently that the blocks in stage 1 will finally be settling next week, and the people who bought in that stage will be able to start building shortly. Very happy for them all as I think their settlement was supposed to be 6 months ago! Oh and we found out this week that the subdivision for Stage 2 will be submitted in December, so earliest settlement for us will be sometime in December. Still waiting, waiting….
I did meet one of ‘soon to be’ neighbours today though, Sanna and Garry, who have a block in Stage 1. They were lovely and happy to have a chat. They currently live in a rental property that backs onto the old golf course so they have been able to watch all of the works as they happen. We were able to access the site through a back gate and so I was able to walk through Stage 1 and look up the hill towards our stage and block. I took some shots, but our block is currently under a mountain of dirt so not much to see at this stage. Once building starts in Stage 1 everyone will be able to access it so we will be able to call in every now and again to check on the progress of Stage 2.
